SYMMETRY
Symmetry is a conceptual work based on a precise method: several taut hot strings cut through foam simultaneously, generating parallel forms that repeat, mirror, and echo each other. The resulting objects resemble ornaments or patterns—not designed in advance, but produced through the internal logic of the process. The strings function like a sensitive recording mechanism. Their movement is influenced by the vibrations and micro-movements of the human body: shifts in balance, pressure, rhythm, and even breath. In this sense, the sculptures emerge through a direct translation of vibration into form. Similar to the mechanical production of vinyl records—where sound waves are inscribed into material—Symmetry transforms bodily vibration into structure. The foam becomes a surface of registration, capturing motion as volume. The process allows no correction and no repetition. Each object is irreversible, fragile, and unrepeatable—an instant formation carved into foam.
